Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009New Gaiam Hot Pot Simple Solar Cooker
Although it’s not my usual post on weight loss tips that work, I had to tell you about neatest new gadget I just learned about. It’s a product called the Hot Pot Simple Solar Cooker by Gaiam. It’s an outdoor solar cooker being featured on “Good Morning America” tomorrow. It sounds like a Great new product for those who like to cook and bake when camping or going to the park, or just keeping the house cooler when it’s so hot, lowering utility bills.
From what I’ve learned about it, it’s a low cost, high performance solar power outdoor oven that can have cooking temperatures up to 350-400 degress within an hour in full sun, and can be used up to six hours! It would be great for camping, barbeques or any outdoor activity you’d like to have some home cooked meals for, or as I said, keeping the house cooler or utility bills down. It’s suppose to be perfect for baking, stews, fondues, etc., and easy to use, so you can enjoy being outside instead of being hunched over a camp fire, using the sun Mother Nature’s provided! It’s the latest and greatest of outdoor solar products available.
Hot Pot Simple Solar Cooker: What’s Included
The hot pot simple solar cooker apparently comes with a 5.3 quarter enameled steel pot with reflector sides that fold down for easy storage, and a glass bowl. It’s been tested and refined over six years, and a great bonus is that sales help subsidize distribution of it in developing countries to reduce deforestation and respiratory disease caused by traditional cooking, which I think is a great cause. You can see a video about this issue here:
Besides helping a great cause, this is a fantastic new gadget for outdoor solar cooking that will sell like crazy. If you want to grab it while it lasts or learn more about it, you can read more here: Hot Pot Simple Solar Cooker
I look forward to hearing your feedback on this hot new product in outdoor solar cooking!
