Simple Weight Loss Tips

We all have weaknesses and lack of determination or motivation to lose weight, and we have cravings or temptations we don’t want to part with.  It’s not just one thing that keeps us from losing weight, but many things that build on each other.  I’m going to review some simple weight loss tips that work.  Each one helps, and as you take more on to lose weight, you’ll be more successful.  But, if you don’t follow up on these simple weight loss tips with some form of exercise like walking, dancing, etc., it won’t do as much good.

The most basic, simple weight loss tips have to do with behavior and psychology, making lifestyle changes.  You also have to know what foods will help you and what to stay away from to lose weight successfully.  If you’re aware of these simple weight loss tips, you’re already on your way to losing weight quickly and safely.

Rapid Weight Loss Tips

There are 10 rapid weight loss tips that will help get you on your way right away.  They’re simple weight loss tips and tricks, but it takes motivation and determination on your part to succeed.  If you know what you should eat and shouldn’t eat but you don’t follow it, you won’t have the success you want.  Here are some rapid weight loss tips and tricks to help get you on your way:

  1. Eat as much Organic food as possible without additives, preservatives, chemicals, etc.
  2. Eat a good Healthy, Organic Breakfast.  A well-balanced breakfast with healthy fats, good carbs like fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables, limited refined sweeteners like a smoothie with frozen fruit, protein powder and flaxseed oil.  You have all 3 categories you need.
  • High sugar items help temporarily, but then you “crash”.  They mess up your metabolism by spiking your blood sugar levels, then the bottom drops out.

rapid weight loss tips    3.  Eat high fiberYou’ll eat less, get full faster and stay full longer.   Some good high fiber items are:

  • artichokes, broccoli, pears, blueberries, beans and lentils, sprouted grain breads and unrefined grains

   4.  Drink Water Throughout the Day.  It’s essential for your health and weight loss.  You’re suppose to drink 1/2 of your body weight in water.  Water helps weight loss and health by:

  • increasing metabolism
  • detoxifying your body and system
  • improving your digestive system

       – Drink 8 ozs (1 cup) of water when you get up in the a.m.  It gives you energy.
       – Drink 8 ozs before each meal (warm or at room temperature)

   5.  Reduce Portion Size.  Use smaller plates and bowls.  Look at the “Servings” info on packaged food.  You get many more calories than you think because the package is for 2 or 4 servings, so you’re eating 2-4 more than you should. 

Portion Sizes for One Serving:

  • 3-4 ozs of meat = a deck of cards
  • 1 tablespoon of oil = a ping pong ball
  • 1 ounce of nuts = a ping pong ball
  • 1 cup of raw vegetables
  • 1/2 cup of carbs

  6.  Eat 5-6 “Meals” A Day.  This means eat breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner.  Eating 1-2 meals a day robs our bodies of the nutrition it needs to function.  Glucose spikes then crashes, we get cravings, etc.

  7.  Don’t Eat Late.  If you eat a bunch of calories before you go to bed, your body stores it (fat), and you Gain Weight.  It also stresses your digestive system and interrupts sleep, you won’t be as rested.

  8.  Limit Sweets to 1-2 Times/Week.  This can be hard, but sugar’s addictive and causes cravings.  Go out to have something sweet, or buy small containers

  9.  Avoid Soda.  This can also be hard, but there are 16 teaspoons of sugar in every can of soda, and high fructose corn syrup, which is the worst thing you can put in your body.  It affects the hormones that help you feel full

This includes diet soda. It’s loaded with artificial ingredients and chemicals that disrupt the endocrins in your body, affecting your metabolism.

fat burning furnace system10.  Avoid Junk Food, Unhealthy Food As Much As Possible and Keep Emergency Food with You.  Keep unhealthy foods as far away as possible!  Try to keep them out of your frig or cupboards, and avoid going by places that tempt you.  Keep a healthy emergency food supply with you like organic turkey jerky or buffalo jerky, flaxseed crackers, raw and dried fruits and vegetables for quick energy foods.

Weight Loss Tips and Tricks

I hope these simple weight loss tips that work and tricks help you focus on your goal.  To lose weight effectively and improve your health, you have to take control and make it a priority, starting with simple weight loss tips and knowledge to help you learn and succeed.  The rapid weight loss tips above should help you learn what to look for to make better decisions.  It’s up to you.  You control the changes and decisions you need to make to lose weight and be healthier.
