I’m going to review the proper way of fasting to lose weight, rapid weight loss diets, the proper diet to lose weight, and how walking to lose weight is one of the healthiest and easiest ways to lose weight quickly.

One of the best fasting diets to lose weight is an organic juice diet using whole natural organic fruits and vegetables. You don’t peel them, and you juice the whole item, peel, seeds and all, as that’s where the nutrients are. There’s no fat, but there’s also no protein and it can cause fatigue due to lowered blood sugar, so fasting to lose weight should be for a short period of time, 24, 48 or 72 hours. There’s 3,000 calories to a pound, so you need to lose or burn 3,000 calories for every pound you want to lose. Most of us eat more than this, so you don’t need to totally cut out your calorie intake, just reduce it.

Walking to lose weight is one of the healthiest and safest ways to lose weight and get fit, and you walk every day. Get a pedometer to monitor how much you actually walk in your day to day activities, and increase the distance and speed you walk. There are shoes you can wear to help get you firm and fit more quickly, and you can listen to music and vary your walks to keep it fresh and not fatigue as much. Always stretch before you do any form of exercise, and set realistic goals. You won’t skip walking as much as you would running, it’s easier on your body and joints, and you can do it every day with less risk of injury. Being more consistent, you can actually burn more calories than you would running. As you build stamina, speed up your walking to burn more calories faster. If you want to jog, all the better if you’re up to it, and your body’s conditioned for it.

Fasting to Lose Weight

Fasting to lose weight is not usually the most practical or safe way to lose weight, although some people use fasting to cleanse their body of toxins.  There are different methods of fasting to lose weight, and although some are healthier than others, you don’t want to fast too long as it’s not healthy.  Some rapid weight loss diets that involve fasting are liquid diets like the juice diet or liver cleansing diet, etc.  Many fasting diets don’t include cutting all caloric foods out, but some do.

When you fast, your body’s forced to go to your energy stores for the fuel it needs to keep going.  This is where you’ll lose weight.  BUT, it has to be Short-Term and Safe, and many gain the weight back, maybe even more.  Someone should also monitor you while you’re fasting to lose weight.  Remember that when you fast, your body and metabolism slow down to conserve your energy, so your energy level lowers unless you’re very careful in selecting a Healthy, short-term fasting diet.

Are Rapid Weight Loss Diets Safe?

Rapid weight loss diets vary, and some are much healthier and safer than others.  You can have a rapid weight loss diet plan as a “quick start” to give you more incentive to lose weight.  But, to have permanent and fast weight loss you have to start making healthy changes in your lifestyle, which can be doing simple things including eating fat burning foods or doing fat burning exercises, detoxifying your body and keeping track of your calorie intake to lose weight  Some of the most important things you can do with safe, rapid weight loss diets are:

  • DRINK A LOT OF WATER.  It’s the best thing for you, flushes toxins, fills you up And gives you energy
  • GET PLENTY OF REST.  When you’re tired, your metabolism slows down which means you’re burning fewer calories, and you don’t have as much energy
  • GOOD NUTRITION.  Eat more organic foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, low fat, less sugar, high fiber like whole grains.  High fat, low nutrition items include white flour, sugar, fried food, fast food, and fatty meats

Rapid weight loss diets don’t just include taking weight loss pills or fasting.  You can lose weight fast and safe just by making small changes and going from there.

  • Talk more at the dinner table:  You’ll eat less and fill up more quickly
  • Mix your food together so it doesn’t look so good!
  • Use smaller plates and eat more slowly to give your stomach a chance to fill up
  • Eat several, healthier meals (protein-energy) to keep your metabolism up
  • Eat a healthy cereal that provides more calcium and fiber and less fat
  • Add spices instead of fatty sauces
  • Go for a walk before meals if you can, because then you’re not as hungry.  Walking throughout the day will also keep your energy (metabolism) up, burning more calories all day long
  • Eating with others can help us watch how much we eat
  • Eat more calories earlier in the day, and fewer as the day goes on
